Open Bible Christian Academy is a member of the Maryland Christian Athletic League (MCAL). We compete with other Christian schools from around around the Baltimore Metro area. OBCA has many opportunities for middle and high school boys and girls to compete in a variety of sports. In the fall we have middle school and varsity soccer for the boys and middle school and varsity volleyball for the girls. In the winter months we have middle school and varsity basketball for the boys and varsity basketball for the girls. In the spring we have varsity soccer for the girls and middle school and/or varsity baseball for the boys. At the end of each year we have a Sports Award Ceremony to aknowlegde the achievements of the athletes in ability and more importantly Christian character.
At Open Bible, we strive to teach our athletes to practice and play as unto the Lord. To help them understand that even in the heat of competetion, we are put to God first. And lastly to let them know that their Christian chararcter will be remembered long after we remember which team won or lost.
